Erik J. Arroyo is the former Mayor of Sarasota and currently serves as a City Commissioner, running for re-election. Born in the Dominican Republic and raised by a single mother, he was the first in his family to graduate high school. Erik is also a lawyer and shareholder at Arroyo McArdle, and feels truly blessed to be living the American Dream.
Erik has dedicated his career to public service and has worked tirelessly to make Sarasota a better place to live, work, and raise a family. From improving our neighborhoods to protecting our environment, Erik has been a champion for our community every step of the way.
